Katerina Lomis is a human from Miami, Florida. Her music blends jazz, musical theatre, pop, folk, and elements of rap. She employs dark themes into whimsical storytelling, telling tales that utilize her vast range of vocal techniques. She has had an obsession with the human voice since she was a child. She worked in cancer research until the start of 2026 when she decided to go full-time with her artistry. "We can grow numb to the individuality of music. So when we find an artist that feels truly original, it feels special. Katerina Lomis is one of those artists." -Venice Oarsman, 2025.
Katerina grew up in a STEM household. She was a vigorous student and despite her profound love for the arts and literature, decided to major in biochemistry. A year after obtaining her bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and working in a cancer research lab, she couldn't deny what she always had known--she loved to write (and was deeply afraid of blood). She began releasing music in October of 2024 with the help of her incredibly talented friends from college, and since has put out twelve singles with over 2M streams among them. She has grown a following of over 870k across platforms and has remained independent throughout.
Katerina just finished performing on the Postmodern Jukebox 2026 World Tour and is now working tirelessly, relentlessly--with fervor and proclivity!--on her first EP. Shoutout to her producer and arranger for bearing with her despite her being on changing timezones the past 3.5 months. She plans to release her EP in 2026. Stay tuned.
